New Rules For Alliance Membership

 New Rules starting February 18

1. We will only be recruiting new members who are Uncollected or Level 50+ and who will do Alliance Quest and War and have Line App.  If you are already a member just work toward getting Uncollected.  I am not kicking people who are not Uncollected or Level 50+.

2. Alliance Quest Participation is Mandatory unless you shoot me a message and let me know you will be busy that week with school exams, heavy workloads at work, family issues or other life stuff. Life always comes first but we only have 12-17 people out of 30 participating in AQ each week. Communication is key.  If all you have time for is to jump into AQ and spend 6 energy points in that 24-hour period that's fine.  Jump in move 6 spaces kill 4 defenders and then say, "I'm done take my path".  That little bit will go a long way if everyone does it. 

3. Alliance War Participation is Mandatory, and this is similar to AQ guidelines so let me know if you can't do it on a particular day.  Everyone needs to place defenders, and everyone needs to join the Attack Phase.  Scratch what I said about not placing defenders if they weren't a certain rank or level.  I had bad info on that. Place the best defenders you can without taking away from your Questing group, your AQ attack team and your AW attack team. Do what you can. I know a lot of people are still building their rosters.

4. Everyone Needs to Get Line. It's a free, easy to use App.  You just install it and set it up and that's it.  Very simple.  Then shoot me a message in game with your Line ID name and I will add you to group chat.

The Core group wants more participation and wants to move in this direction.  If you don't want to participate, then maybe this isn't the right Alliance for you. No hard feelings it's just that we want to move forward with the Alliance for better rankings, rewards, etc. I hate rules and I hate making things mandatory but it's an Alliance and you got to do Alliance Stuff like AQ and AW otherwise what's the point of an Alliance?

Alliance Quest and War Important Info

 Alliance Quest:

    I used to think Alliance Quest was a waste of my time and took my good champs away from other stuff.  Then someone pointed out how important the Glory Units we get from the season awards each week are for ranking up your champs. Nothing else gets your champs ranked up faster than Glory Units from AQ season rewards. It is not mandatory to participate in every single Alliance Quest, but I would like everyone to participate as much as possible. I know there is life stuff like school and other stuff that comes first.  But some people spend a lot of time playing but don't do AQ. I timed myself on 2 different accounts and it takes 8-12 minutes to use the 6 energies in Alliance Quest.  That is hardly any time so please can everyone try to jump into Alliance Quest when you get on, it doesn't take a lot of time and the more points we get the better the rewards which helps everyone rank up their champs faster which in turn helps you and the Alliance.  Now this is not directed at everyone. Some of you are straight up killing it and doing more than your share. I appreciate it more than you know. And I promise all of you this will all be worth it when we hit 90 million in AQ and get to Gold 3 in Alliance War.  You guys will have so many ranked up powerful champs you will breeze through content, and we will all be Cavalier or higher in less than 6 months.

    If you are in a Battlegroup in AQ and you feel it is too easy or too hard let me know so I can put you in a better place. I am starting to use Epic and Master modifiers on all the maps for extra points and that will make the maps harder so let me know if you need to move or you are having issues in a certain BG.

    Also, if you join AQ and won't be back before the 24 hours is up say it in the chat that you won't be back, and someone can take your path.  That will help a lot.

Alliance War:

    Season 40 starts on February 15th, and I am pumped!   We are still going to be doing 2 Battlegroups until I feel like everyone is going to participate.  We have been doing good with 2 BGs so far so why change.  Now this means only 20 people out of 30 can join the War.  If you are busy that day or don't feel like doing AW that day cool sit out.  There are 12 Wars each season and you have to participate in 5 per season to get season rewards. I want everyone who is going to join the Alliance War to look at the following guidelines: 

1. Before you choose your attack team SPECTATE FIRST.  Look and see what path you should take and if your champs can handle it.  Bring a bleed immune champ if there are bleed inflictors on the path or poison immune if there is a defender with poison. Make sure you look at the path that best suits your champs' class, so you don't bring science champs and most of the champs are skill which gives you a class disadvantage. Also, communication is important.  If you have the perfect champ to counter the Boss than let us know in group chat that you will be able to do that.  It would also be helpful to announce the path you are going to take so that other people know to take another path.  

2. If you can't kill a defender or boss in 3 tries or less don't just revive over and over unless there is no other way.  We don't get the attack bonus after 3 tries of killing a defender.  If it's at an intersection and someone else might be able to kill that defender just wait and announce in chat or in Line App group chat that you can't kill that defender can someone else do it, if no one can then by all means revive over and over till you kill that mofo . I know I will if I run into a really hard champ. I've been known to revive over 40 times to kill one defender.

3. Everyone should try to get eventually where they rank up 3 champs for AQ, 3 champs for AW attack, and 5 champs for Defense. Just work towards this. Don't kill yourself trying to make it happen overnight it takes time and resources. Work on one champ at a time. Also don't rank up or level champs unless they are for sure who you need.  I used to just rank up champs because the little Up Arrow would turn blue.  Focus your resources on the most important champs. If you need help, I will always answer any questions about anything. Never be afraid to ask.  I never feel like it's a bother to me.  I want you guys to do good and have fun.  I learned a shit ton from jjjjj~566, one of our officers.  I still bug him about shit all the time that I need help with.  So, if you ever get stuck or need help or advice, please feel free to ask.  If you ask in Line App group chat, you will get lots of help and opinions.

Last thing: I really need everyone to get the Line App so you can join group chat.  It is a free app.  You can use an email if you don't want to use your phone number to set it up.  But we just really need everyone to be in group chat to make things work.  After you set up just send me a message in game with your Line ID and I will add you.

I promise when we are swimming in the rewards it will all be worth it.  By the way as a whole, you guys are doing amazing.  This is the best Alliance I have been in.  I think you guys bust your ass and it shows when you compare other Alliances ranked at our level. Season 40 of Alliance War 

So, the new season of AW is coming up and I have a goal of getting us to Gold 3. Currently we are silver 2 which means we have to get to Silver 1 then move to Gold 3.  I think it's entirely possible to do it this season, but it may take 2-3 seasons.  We will see what kind of ridiculous match ups they make for us.   For context this is the current season rewards for Silver 2:

Not horrible but for a whole season I would rather get a 6-star Nexus Crystal than a 5-star Nexus Crystal. It's hard to get 6-star awakening gems and it would be nice to have a 6-star Nexus where you can choose and maybe get a chance to Dupe and awaken a 6-star champ that really needs to be awakened to really be good.  This is the current season rewards for Gold 3:

Now there is also the rewards you get on the day you defeat the Alliance they match you up against called Victory rewards.  They look like this currently where we are at Tier 15:

Not the best in the world. We need to get this up to at least Tier 11 or higher.  For a comparison this is Tier 11:

Obviously, much better to get the 6-star shards and 5-star shards then the 4-star shards and a few 5-star shards. 

But all in all, we are doing great in Alliance War even when they match us up against monsters with average member rating of over 1 million.  We usually get close to 100% exploration and a pretty good score on Defender Diversity which is the score you get for each unique defender placed in the Alliance War battlegroups. We need to work on the Attack Bonus which is what you get when you kill a defender. The bonus starts at 240 points then 160 points then 80 points and after the defender kills 3 attackers there is no bonus. So, it's best to try and kill the defenders on the first try instead of brute forcing it with revives unless you have no other choice because it is a very powerful defender, or you are low on health and no one else will be able to help.
